Praying in the garden
This is Stella (although my daughter Lindsey who raised her from an "egg" along with her 500 or so siblings, likes to call her Cruella due to her "bedside manner")
Given that my upcoming book is called "Trippin' in the garden on Miracle-Gro", I guess to some unsuspecting bug, Stella would be considered a trip gone bad.
[Editor's note: Lindsey just commented that maybe Stella is praying for another miracle]
Stella is fascinating to watch although she is quite the noisy eater and I'm told that she has a hard time keeping a husband (or rather, finds them tasty after a romp in the Coleus...
my daughter, who is on the path to be the next Jane Goodall, loves retelling me the mating habits of the Praying Mantis while muffling a disarming 12 year old giggle.)
